Monimove Becomes First Ever Fintech Company to Integrate with UAE PASS, the secure national digital identity of the UAE


Dubai, 20 January 2021: Monimove, global end to end supply chain, trade finance and credit utilisation platform, today announced that the company is integrating with UAE PASS.

UAE PASS is the secure national digital identity for citizens and residents of the UAE. The app enables all registered individuals to access more than 5000 government, semi-government and private sector entities’ services through their respective websites and apps, and also allows them to digitally sign and authenticate documents and transactions. UAE PASS also enables users to request a digital version of various official documents issued to their name.

UAE PASS was launched as a joint initiative between the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Abu Dhabi Digital Authority and Smart Dubai. It is also supported by key strategic partners including the Federal Authority For Identity & Citizenship, the Dubai Electronic Security Center, and all the digital authorities of the respective seven emirates of the UAE.

Through this partnership, Monimove will be bringing to market its first fully digitised platform which is fully operated by Protiviti, a global consulting firm that delivers deep expertise in governance, risk and compliance. The platform will offer complete transparency throughout the supply chain & Trade Finance in order to greatly reduce the operational risk.

Leveraging on UAE PASSs digital ID, Monimove will be able to offer its public and private clients a fully authenticated process to bolster transparency across the trade cycle from invoicing to settlement. This integration with UAE PASS improves validation significantly and is vital to mitigate numerous operational risks, reduce fraud and enhance trust among all stakeholders.
